Christmas Drinks at The Robin Hood in OrrellBillinge & Orrell Transition Group
Instead of our usual monthly meeting we are having an informal get together at the Robin Hood in December. Same time same place as our usual meeting (see upcoming events for details) but much more laid back. If you have been wanting to find out more about the Transition Group but have not felt ready to commit yourself to coming to a meeting then this is the ideal opportunity to meet us and enjoy a few Christmas drinks at the same time. Everyone welcome. You can just turn up on the night or, if you would prefer to make contact first, you can contact Mandy for further details.

What is Transition Town Wigan? Transition Town Wigan is a growing group of volunteers aiming to start a borough-wide community response to the challenges of climate change and peak oil. We want to bring together the collective skills and creativity across the borough to evolve a sustainable low energy future reflected in an Energy Descent Action Plan. As a community we are part of an international network of towns and cities with the same aims, the Transition Network. Whilst a new initiative, we want to recognise and celebrate those existing teams involved in ecological and sustainability projects across the borough. |
